Finally a Social Media Trend, that can make the World a better place !
To participate and help the world become a little cleaner, find an area that is overflowing with garbage, clean it up and post before and after photos on your social media handles using the hashtag #trashtag.

The trashtag challenge has been around for a while. It’s earliest reference can be traced to a 2015 campaign triggered by Canadian outdoor gear manufacturer UCO’s ‘People Ambassador’ Steven Reinhold. Reinhold accidentally let a piece of paper accidentally fly out the window. Ridden by guilt, he committed to picking up 100 pieces of trash, hoping to inspire others to do the same. The hashtag #trashtag and the action that goes along with it has been around since then. Now though, it has gone viral, thanks to Byron Román. Of course, environment-conscious trekkers and joggers have also been doing this away from the social media glare, calling it ‘plogging’ or picking up litter while jogging. Courtesy – CNT
